Why are we humans?
What makes us humans?
We have emotions and feelings. We feel anger, humiliation. We have imagination. We believe. We are unique. Each one us us are different, none of us are the same. We can make judgements, we know how to differentiate the right from the wrong. We are conscious of the implications of our actions. We are more intelligent (but I doubt that we are smarter than our fellow aliens from Mars). We empathize. That's why we are humans.
